Paloma Lingwei Chen

As a journalist-turned-filmmaker with over ten years of working experience in both China and the U.S., Paloma has produced a wide range of short-form and long-form content. Her career has involved overseeing the conceptual development, strategy, budgeting, and production of 30+ diverse projects.

Her professional journey includes collaborations with prominent companies such as Ncredible Productions, China Television Corporation, The Kennedy/Marshall Company, and Concordia Studio. Her latest project, "THE BABY CARRIERS," dove into international surrogacy during the Covid-19 era and was featured at the 2021 Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF).

Born in Beijing to a Spanish father and a Chinese mother, she is now a proud mother and a first-generation immigrant. Her rich cross-cultural heritage fuels my passion for storytelling, guiding her lens to explore complex, nuanced narratives that resonate across global audiences.
